Shield
The shield is blue for Infantry. The pile wavy symbolizes "Old Faithful," the noted geyser in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, to which state the 415th Infantry was allocated in 1922.
Crest
The crest is that of the United States Army Reserve.
The coat of arms was originally approved for the 415th Infantry Regiment on 2 March 1927. It was redesignated for the 415th Regiment on 16 August 1960.
